YOU WERE MADE FOR MORE

THAN SIMPLY EXISTING

YOU

You are uniquely made by an amazing God. Your life has meaning and purpose. You are loved by the Divine and He wants to journey together with you through life. Others like you have come to find purpose and hope through Forefront.

WE

We care about you. We believe together we are the church, a community of faith. Not a place we come to, but a part of. We hope, love, give and serve so others can experience God’s scandalous love for mankind.

HE

He is amazing. God sent His son Jesus, despite our constant failings, to set us free because His love is that deep and expansive. It’s by His amazing grace that second chances abound each day. When we go all in through baptism, our lives are forever changed.

What To Expect

Join us for In-Person Services at 9:00am & 10:15am and Online service at 9:00am. Below is what to expect when joining us for services.

What do I wear?

At Forefront, you’ll see everything from suits to T-shirts and shorts. Wear what makes you feel comfortable—you’re among family here!

Where do I park when I arrive?

When you arrive on campus, our parking team will direct you to open spaces. If you need special accommodations for either handicap or easy access parking, please let our parking team know as you arrive.

What time do services start?

Sunday services start promptly at 9:00am and 10:15am. We recommend getting to campus 15 minutes early for parking and getting settled. If you will be checking in small children. (nursery to 5th grade), plan to be a little early to get them checked in so you don’t miss anything in service.

What are services like?

We begin each service with vibrant, contemporary Christian music led by our Forefront Worship team. Whether you lift your hands in praise and sing a long or stand in quiet reflection, we hope you’ll feel God’s presence.

How long is a Sunday service?

Our services are 58-60 minutes. We end with an opportunity to speak to a team member for prayer or to learn more about the church at our Connections Area in the main lobby. You can also text your prayer requests to 757-504-4295.

What kind of message will I hear?

You’ll hear an encouraging Bible-based message by our Lead Pastor, Jason Bedell. We strive to speak in a way that the believer and non-believer can engage and feel welcome. At our Christmas experience, will visit the Christmas story and celebrate the coming of Jesus.

Is there children's ministry available?

Yes, Nursery to 5th grade is available at all services. Forefront Kids is a place where your kids can have fun, grow, and discover just how much God loves them. For more information on our family ministry, click here.

We also want to let every parent know – all of our volunteers are background checked and trained before serving in any capacity in our family ministry areas. This is to ensure the safety and engagement we expect in our kids environments.

Where can I learn more when I'm on campus?

As a first-time guest, our goal is that your experience at Forefront is an amazing one. Check in at the Get Connected Table on your way in to get some information on the church and a greeter will show you around our space before service begins. Be sure to grab some coffee in the lobby as come in to wake yourself up too.

Do I have to check my kids in or do they just get dropped off?

As a first-time family at Forefront, we have a dedicated station just for you to make dropping off your children in our Forefront Kids environment as easy as possible. Our Kids Team is at your service to make sure your experience is a great one.

Our check-in process is to help us best care for your child as they learn and worship. We also use a system that allows for the best security and well-being of each child, so parents know kids are in a friendly safe environment.

Is there communion and offering during service?

Each Sunday we take time to reflect and celebrate Jesus’ gift to us by taking communion. It’s an open invitation for all those who believe to remember his love, grace and redemption.

We also take up an offering. We ask those people who are new to not give. It’s an opportunity for those of us who call Forefront our church home and have laid down roots here to give back to God and the work of His church at Forefront. Offering can be given digitally or dropped off as you exit services.

I'm new and you have a gift for me? For real?

Absolutely! We’re glad you’re choosing to come and be a part of what’s happening. Stop by the Get Connected area in our main lobby and we have a gift for you. It’s our way of saying “we are glad you’re here and thank you for coming.”
